Three days of fishing and five nights. Five dinners and four breakfasts. Three shore lunches. A great team works here. They cater to your every need: hospitality, excellent food, and outstanding fishing guides. It's a place you'll want to return to every year, or even twice. Some of the best freshwater fishing in North America can be found here. If you love fishing and family lodges, treat yourself! Hard to beat. Classic rustic cabins. Delicious home-cooked American meals, if you're so inclined. You'll be spoiled for choice.

What an incredible trip with my brothers! The fishing is fantastic. Our guide, Pierre, is the best! He takes us to the best spots, helps us with bait and tackle, and the shore lunch is always delicious. I can't wait to take my in-laws there for another trip! On the last day, I caught an 81 cm pike and two walleye over 50 cm, enough to make the trophy board… I also caught a 70 HP motor on the first day!

I was with an experienced group, but it was my first time on the English River system and my first stay at Caribou Falls Lodge. The first day, we had a guide, John, who took us to excellent spots for walleye and northern pike fishing. The rest of the week, we were on our own. The fishing exceeded all my expectations. I couldn't even count the number of fish over 89 cm. We also jigged for a lot of walleye, which allowed us to enjoy delicious meals. The place is huge and secluded. You can fish two minutes from the dock or thirty minutes away, it's your choice. The boats are well-equipped and quite stable, even in rough water. At the dock, John and Zach were there to make sure we didn't lack anything and were always catering to our needs. I really enjoyed chatting with them coming and going. The cabins are right nearby and very comfortable. If you want to fish all day, come to Caribou Falls. You'll be exhausted at the end of the week, but you'll only have one desire: to come back!

We have been coming to Caribou Falls Lodge for several years, and for good reason! The fishing is always good; the cabins are clean and comfortable; the food is excellent and the boats and their motors are always in top condition. In the morning, coffee is served in your cabin half an hour before breakfast. After breakfast, the boats are cleaned and ready to go, with bait, nets, life jackets, and towels. In the afternoon, upon your return, a dockhand greets your boat and ties it up. Our group has tried other places over the years, but none come close to Caribou Falls.

I've taken fly-in fishing trips and been to between 5 and 7 different fishing camps over the past 15 years. My group has been going to Caribou Falls for over 10 years and no one ever suggests going anywhere else. The ease of driving to the resort, while still enjoying a wilderness fishing experience and all-inclusive comfort, is, to my knowledge, unmatched at this level of quality. My group is more than thrilled with the service, the quality of accommodations, and the food provided by Ed and his team. The boats and motors are modern and everything is included in the price.
