Superbe campement. Mark et Sonya ont tout fait pour que nous soyons à l'aise et que nous trouvions des emplacements fructueux. Mon petit-fils et moi avons tous deux abattu un ours. C'était son premier. Al et Kim ont été formidables : ils nous ont emmenés en forêt, ont amorcé la chasse, ont sorti et préparé notre ours, et se sont montrés des guides sympathiques et professionnels. J'y retournerais sans hésiter. Il est déconseillé de venir en voiture, car il y a un gué.

Nous étions huit au camp pour la semaine d'ouverture de la saison de chasse d'automne, et nous avons prélevé huit ours en cinq jours. Nous avons tous aperçu plusieurs ours, et les guides ont fait un excellent travail en nous conduisant aux miradors et en débusquant les ours pour les éviscérer. Le lodge était très confortable et propre, et tous les repas étaient chauds et délicieux. C'étaient de copieux repas faits maison : lasagnes, dinde, un gros jambon, rôti de porc et poulet. Personne n'est reparti le ventre vide ! Un point important non mentionné sur leur site web : bien qu'il soit possible d'acheter un deuxième permis de chasse à l'ours après en avoir prélevé un, des frais supplémentaires s'appliquent. Ce n'est pas excessif, mais il est bon de le savoir. Ce fut un séjour de chasse fantastique, et je le recommande sans hésiter à tous ceux qui recherchent une chasse à l'ours noir de grande qualité à un prix raisonnable !
