It was a great hunt! I spotted between 15 and 25 bears a day from the stand. Scott knows exactly how to put us on bears, with plenty of opportunities to observe the different color phases of their coat. I've been on many guided and semi-guided hunts, and this one is by far the best.

An unforgettable trip. Scott and his guides are exceptional. I had been dreaming of hunting bear with my dad for a long time. After a lot of research, we decided to go with Scott and Canadian Wilderness Outfitters, and I am so glad we did! Not only did we see an abundance of wildlife (bears, moose, elk), but his team is also amazing. Thanks to Scott and his guides, I learned a lot about bears and the local history of the places where we were hunting and fishing. It was like having a local guide available 24/7. Not to mention the meals fit for a king prepared by his chef, Curtis. He even cooked us freshly caught pike from the neighboring lake. If you're considering a bear hunt in Canada, this is the place. You won't be disappointed. I'm already planning to go back.
