We had a wonderful weekend at Dunlop Lake Lodge. Exceptional staff, delicious food, and everything we expected from a rustic northern Ontario cabin. The rooms match the photos, and you can tell they make regular improvements. If you're looking at the reviews, don't let the few over-the-top comments discourage you. This place lives up to its reputation, and for a relaxing weekend, it's hard to beat. We will return without hesitation.

My team stayed here on July 9th. The owner, Randy, was not only very accommodating, but also very pleasant and visibly proud of his establishment. We had a great stay! On the agenda: fishing, campfire, large parking lot for moving trucks, clean and comfortable rooms, and a bar-restaurant right next door. A true little gem in the outdoors, at a very affordable price! Whenever we need to stay in the Elliot Lake area, we will choose this place if there is availability!

We didn't know this place existed until we were desperately looking for lodging, as the only local hotel was full. A businessman recommended Dunlop Lake Lodge to us. We were lucky enough to spend two nights there and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet, the restaurant and food (especially Tuesday's fish and chips) were excellent (and it was packed that night!). Apparently, many Elliot Lake locals make the short drive for dinner. It was well worth it. Portions are generous and tasty. We had a great stay. Our only regret is not knowing about this place three years ago when we started visiting Elliot Lake. We highly recommend this establishment. It is located a stone's throw from Elliot Lake. Apparently, the owners have just opened the Lodge. If our stay is any indicator, their new venture has everything it takes to succeed. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
