The outfitter is great the people are friendly there is good size fish. I go back every year The negative is it's a flooded reservoir There are tree stumps under the surface pretty much everywhere the lake is poorly mapped on certain sonars it cost me a motor lower unit !!

Superb spot for fishing even though the reservoir is a bit cluttered along the edges with branches and tree remains. A good angler must adapt to this condition, which offers a lot of cover for fish but makes fishing more difficult. On the other hand, the size of the walleye is surprising. Expect to release several big walleye back into the water !! The fishing guides on site were generous with their advice and helped me in my searches. The staff is very welcoming and also very helpful. I have been camping there three times and have already booked for next season. I caught my biggest walleye ever (13 lb) there in 2023 !!
