Discover Flame Lake Lodge

The outfitter

Established in 1967, Flame Lake Lodge is a family-owned, self-sufficient site powered by wind and solar energy. Located on the shores of Flame Lake, the establishment offers rustic housekeeping cabins, campsites, and a main lodge. On-site, you can fish for walleye, northern pike, and whitefish, or hunt for black bear, moose, and grouse. The property also features a swimming beach, ATV trails, canoeing, and local wildlife viewing including moose, loons, and eagles.

Territory and geography

Set in a preserved natural landscape in Northern Ontario, the territory extends around Flame Lake and numerous surrounding bodies of water connected by roads, trails, and a winding river. Surrounded by a vast wilderness forest, the site offers a quiet, isolated setting that is entirely off-grid thanks to independent wind and solar power. The clear waterways allow for navigation by canoe or motorboat, while a network of gravel roads and rustic trails crisscrosses the forest for easy access to fishing, hunting, and ATV hiking areas.
