Beautiful area! We had booked the main cabin with its three bedrooms so my bridesmaids and I could get ready for my wedding in July 2026. Janet was lovely and always ready to help us. The location was ideal, with a breathtaking view of the Salmon River. This stay was very special for my husband and me. We loved it!

Two years ago, my husband and I decided to go bear hunting in Canada for our wedding anniversary. We did some online research and went to the hunting and fishing show to find outfitters and guides. We spoke with several outfitters and booked that same day with Salmon River Bend Outfitters. We got back two weeks ago. To say our trip was exceptional would be an understatement. The people, the food, the location, everything was absolutely wonderful. Right from Sunday on the first day, even before heading into the woods, we knew we would book again, and that's what we did for 2028. We can never thank the guides and the outfitter enough for their guidance and hospitality throughout this week. It was truly wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. We already miss hunting camp, but we can't wait to see everyone again at the hunting show and return in 2028!

I've been coming back for six years now. One year, I hunted moose. I have never been disappointed. I look forward to this bear hunting trip every year and our group is already signed up for the spring 2027 hunt. The cabins are superb and the meals are excellent. Top-notch outfitter. Hal and Janet are exceptional. The hunts are beautiful and secluded. No other hunters nearby. Different hunting stand every day. The meals are excellent, comforting home cooking. The main lodge is a friendly gathering place to relax and chat. Don't forget your Thermacell! The mosquitoes will eat you alive during the hunt. There are very few at the camp. Ask your guide to make a detour to the natural spring to fill your water bottle. You might even spot a moose or two. Bring your fishing rod. The camp is located right on the riverbank.
