Bob and Sondra are wonderful and very helpful people. The accommodation was clean and, for the first time, we had sharp kitchen knives. The boats were clean, in good working order and well maintained. Gas and bait service was exceptional, we never had to wait. Their priority was for us to have a good time and be satisfied. I definitely recommend. We caught fish on every outing.

Cabin 5 - I took my boys for a week and everything was perfect. Clean cabins, excellent service and fantastic fishing. Sondra and Bob are wonderful people and the service is exceptional. The boys caught tons of fish while I handled the boat and we had a good laugh all week. I think 3 people in cabin 5 was ideal; one more person might have been a bit tight. A memorable week, can't wait until next year!

I camped at Happy Day Lodge for three nights, a short stop on a trip across the province. I must say it was my best camping experience at a wilderness lodge. I'm from Ontario and was surprised to see that most of the visitors were American. But now, I understand the appeal of this place! Bob and Sondra were extremely kind and welcoming. They and their son are hardworking yet very easygoing. They are both very attentive and friendly toward guests! There was an atmosphere of respect and relaxation at the camp. At other fishing lodges where I've camped, I've had to deal with rather unpleasant guests, but that wasn't the case here. Everyone was friendly and ready to chat, and I enjoyed meeting new people. The fishing was good. The luxury boat I rented was good. The facilities are good and clean. The only downside to camping is the presence of a big generator that powers the whole camp. As a result, in the tent, I had to wear earplugs. Fortunately, the company and the fishing made up for the noise of the generator. If you're in a cabin or an RV/camper, there won't be any issue. I'll be back, thank you all for your excellent work!

A wonderful fishing camp, with about 8 cabins. There are also a few remote campsites. Sondra and Bob, along with their son Dylan, are fantastic hosts. You can rent boats and there is a general store to buy whatever you might have forgotten. All campsites are fully equipped. We had a great stay! Wildlife is abundant there: we saw a black bear and two cows. Last year, there were even two foxes!

What a beautiful place! You find all the wildlife and peace and quiet you could dream of. Fishing was tough at times, but we still got some nice catches. It was our first time here, and in five days, we were only able to explore about a third of the lake system. We caught four different species: walleye, pike, smallmouth bass and quite a few whitefish. I definitely plan on going back soon. Until then, happy fishing to all!
