For over 30 years, Hawk Air has been offering fly-in fishing and hunting trips in Northern Ontario. From May to October, this family-owned business transports guests by Turbine Otter or Cessna 180 floatplanes to remote camps. Anglers come here to target walleye, northern pike, brook trout, and lake trout. The self-sufficient camps are equipped with a refrigerator, wood stove, cooktop, propane grill, and a generator. A 14-foot aluminum boat with a motor, swivel seats, and unlimited fuel is provided for every two people.
The territory operated by Hawk Air extends across the wild boreal forests of Northern Ontario from its home base near Wawa. This remote environment is dotted with pristine lakes home to populations of walleye, pike, lake trout, and brook trout. Access to these secluded fishing camps is strictly by air, via floatplane transfers from May to October. This isolation guarantees a true wilderness experience, far removed from the road network.

My son and I spent a fantastic week of fishing and relaxation. The flight and plane were awesome 👌. We will definitely be back! Watching a moose swim across the lake on the last morning at 6 a.m. was the icing on the cake.

I had an unforgettable trip with Hawk Air. As a group of hikers, we were eager to explore an area of Canada that had intrigued us for over 20 years. We felt like kids exploring, climbing, and sleeping on the beach, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. As soon as we arrived at the cabin, we knew we were going to have an exceptional time. The fresh air smelled of cedar and the sun was high in the sky. We immediately hit the trail and explored the surrounding area. The next morning, after a quick breakfast by the lake, we set off early again. We didn't stop for a second… I came back physically exhausted, but mentally invigorated. I can't wait to fly again with the wonderful team at Hawk Air with my family and show them some of the beautiful places we explored!
