Better than expected, and I had high expectations. The owners are welcoming and helpful. The cabin is rustic, but offers all the necessary comfort to spend a few days fishing. The rental boat is in excellent condition and takes us to the best fishing spots. Impeccable service.

We arrived the Wednesday before Labour Day and had some difficulties entering Canada. After crossing the border, we called Don (the owner) at the Hyatt hotel and explained our situation. Knowing we wouldn't be able to reach the Mount Lake cabins that night, Don set us up in one of his cabins that wasn't quite ready yet. They assured us it would be soon, and it was. They were extremely accommodating, understanding, and hospitable. After a few days of successful fishing, my brother needed pain medication for a broken tooth. Don kindly brought it to us by boat on Mount Lake. As if that weren't enough, we contacted the main lodge two days later by radio to see if Don would agree to hike him back to the hotel at an unscheduled time so my brother could get medical care. Don gladly accepted without hesitation. The cabins had a rustic charm. We spent most of our time on the porch when we weren't on the lakes. We enjoyed magnificent views and had a wonderful time. The fishing… Wow! We caught everything: walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and lake trout. It's a memory I will keep forever. Memories are precious.

Magnificent scenery. Don and Brenda were very welcoming. We didn't stay at the hotel or in their cabins, but they helped us with licenses and bait. A bit far to get there, but well worth the trip.
