J'ai loué un bateau chez Chris la semaine dernière pour aller pêcher. Il était excellent : un Lund SSV à coque large et fond plat, équipé d'un moteur hors-bord neuf de 20 ch qui démarrait au quart de tour. Si vous êtes passionné de pêche et recherchez un bateau ou un hébergement dans une région préservée offrant d'excellentes possibilités de pêche, je vous recommande vivement leurs services.

Nous avons eu le plaisir de faire une halte au Key Harbour Lodge hier pour faire le plein et déguster une glace après une magnifique excursion en bateau sur la rivière Key, de la route 69 à la baie Georgienne. Chris et Carol nous ont réservé un accueil chaleureux et le prix du carburant était raisonnable pour un endroit aussi isolé, accessible uniquement par bateau. La glace était délicieuse et nous avons apprécié une petite promenade avec notre chien dans leur magnifique campement paysager. Les sanitaires sont propres et facilement accessibles. Chris et Carol louent cinq chalets au lodge et proposent une épicerie très bien achalandée. La marina est facilement accessible et la file d'attente pour la pompe est suffisamment longue pour faire le plein directement au quai. Je ne suis pas pêcheur, mais je sais que tout pêcheur se sentirait choyé au Key Harbour Lodge. Merci Chris et Carol. Nous reviendrons faire le plein et déguster une glace lors de notre prochaine aventure en bateau. Adam et Eric, et notre chien Winston.

Un endroit idéal pour une escapade de pêche relaxante. Notre famille fréquente cette région depuis plus de 50 ans, et la plupart du temps, nous séjournons au Key Harbour Lodge. Le service y est exceptionnel et la région est magnifique ! La pêche est excellente et notre plus grand problème est de ne pas dépasser les quotas ! Merci Chris et le Key Harbour Lodge !

Notre groupe parcourt la rivière des Français en canoë depuis neuf ans, mais c'était la première fois que nous séjournions au Key Harbour Lodge, côté baie Georgienne. Chris a vraiment tout fait pour rendre notre voyage inoubliable cette année. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

J'ai lu pas mal de commentaires et franchement, il y a un sacré paquet d'ingrats. Le Key Harbour Lodge, ce n'est pas le Four Seasons du centre-ville de Toronto. Alors si vous cherchez le luxe, passez votre chemin. Le Key Harbour Lodge, c'est ce que nous, les gens du Nord, appelons un campement. C'est propre, fonctionnel et la pêche est exceptionnellement bonne. Si vous voulez être chouchouté, passez votre chemin. Chris et Carol sont les piliers de l'établissement. Ils se donnent un mal de chien pour que ça marche et j'imagine même pas à quel point ils travaillent dur ni combien leurs journées sont longues. J'y suis allé dix fois maintenant et oui, parfois ils peuvent paraître un peu brusques ou directs, mais après trente ans comme dentiste et au contact du public, je peux vous dire que ça marche dans les deux sens. Je reviens tout juste de quatre jours et la pêche était super. Le temps était typique de la saison : il a plu des cordes, il a venteu comme pas possible, et il a fait grand soleil, tout ça dans la même journée. Au moins, il n'a pas neigé. Le Key Harbour Lodge est un petit bijou. Certes, il est rustique, mais facilement et rapidement accessible de partout dans le sud de l'Ontario. Si vous aimez la pêche, c'est l'endroit idéal. Si vous rêvez d'échapper à la jungle urbaine et que vous n'avez jamais exploré le Bouclier canadien, c'est la destination parfaite. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. J'adore cet endroit, mais je déteste les lits. J'ai le cœur tendre et les matelas sont fermes. Prévoyez donc un surmatelas et profitez pleinement de votre séjour. Robert Perkins
