La Cache Outfitters was born from a partnership between two seasoned guide services specializing in hunting migratory birds in Quebec: LVL Outfitters, after more than 5 years in operation, and Philippe Vignoul from Aventure-Sauvagine. Together, they pooled their expertise to found La Cache Outfitters, a company offering guided hunting expeditions for the Snow Goose (greater snow goose), the Canada Goose, dabbling ducks, Wild Turkey, and White-tailed Deer, across territories in Quebec and Ontario.
The outfitter operates along the migratory corridor of the Saint-Laurent River and in strategic agricultural areas, including Lac-Saint-Jean, Centre-du-Québec (Victoriaville), Cap-Tourmente, Baie-du-Febvre, Montmagny, and in the Bas-Saint-Laurent.

Its co-owners and lead guides, Maxime Asselin (holds a Master’s degree in biogeography and paleoecology from Université Laval) and Philippe Vignoul (wildlife biologist), integrate a rigorous scientific approach into scouting and conducting the hunts. The outfitter also has a hunting lodge based in Centre-du-Québec (Victoriaville), specially set up to host hunters and prepare the equipment.
