The outfitter
Located in Chapleau, this welcoming family-run business established in 1957 offers six large self-catering cottages on the shores of McLennan Lake, accommodating up to ten guests. In addition to the main lake, which focuses on catch-and-release walleye fishing, the territory offers quick access—between a 10 and 60-minute drive—to dozens of wilderness lakes. Anglers can fish for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, brook trout, and whitefish. The establishment also offers black bear, moose, and small game hunting.
