My hunt with Big paw for moose lasted 1 hour. We hunted for 1 hour and saw 12 moose. Kevin and his staff are hard working and the accommodations are outstanding . You cann't go wrong with Kevin and his staff.This was the 12th time I hunted with Kevin and there is a reason for that . I have been hunting fall black bear with Kevin and his team at Big Paw Outfitters since 2008. The lodge is very nice and extremely comfortable. On the agenda: hearty and tasty meals, morning coffee on a large veranda, and evenings by the fire sharing hunting stories. I enjoy the relaxation and friendliness of the lodge as much as the hunt itself. The guides are friendly, welcoming, and very pleasant. Kevin manages different bait sites and places you only on the most frequented spots. Your hunting stand will be adapted to your hunting style: bow/crossbow, rifle, shotgun, or muzzleloader. Last fall, every hunter in camp saw several bears and had the opportunity to harvest one. I have already booked my next fall bear hunt with them and I can't wait to go back!

Betsy and I have been using Kevin and Big Paw Outfitters since 2015. It's a relaxing hunt in a warm, family atmosphere. We plan to go back for the fifth time in 2027. Kevin and his team are like family and always welcome us warmly.

I am 66 years old and have been hunting for 64 years. I have hunted big game across North America, all of Texas, most of the Rockies, and several Southern states. I have used many outfitters, some excellent, others less so. Kevin Cassie of Big Paw Outfitters is simply outstanding. Clean, modern facilities, good food, excellent, friendly, and helpful guides. I saw a lot of bears. The locals don't hunt bears! I shot two: the first measured 1.50 m and the second 1.80 m. I was told about Kevin at a local gun shop. I called him and booked a hunting trip for five guns. I don't regret it at all. Not a single negative comment. I have recommended him many times to friends and other hunters. Several, like me, were on their second or third hunt here, and everyone was thrilled!
