I would gladly give 10 stars! A huge thank you to Captain John, Chandra, and A.J. I had organized a tuna fishing trip for my father's 70th birthday and we were not disappointed. The crew was fantastic, the food delicious and plentiful, and we spent an unforgettable day fighting tuna weighing over 300 kg. John and Chandra are exceptional hosts and guides. My wife and I had fished before, but neither of us had ever faced a fish as impressive as the giant bluefin tuna. Our day on the boat was an extraordinary adventure. Chandra wonderfully taught us the subtle art of fighting a 360 kg fish for an hour. John, for his part, allowed us to fish all day and piloted the boat brilliantly to help us bring in our catches. The hospitality was faultless, Chandra's cooking delicious, and the beer ice-cold. You couldn't ask for better: a day both thrilling and exhausting. I highly recommend this experience.

Recently vacationed in Nova Scotia and chartered a tuna fishing trip with John and Chandra Gavin. Had an awesome time. The Gavins and their deck hand, Craig, we’re all very knowledgeable and accommodating. Had our son who has special needs with us. The crew went above and beyond to make this experience enjoyable for him. And, my husband reeled in an 800+ pound tuna, 9 to 10’ long. Would definitely recommend Giant Bliefin Tuna Fishing.
