249 Mill Road, Mindemoya
To reach the site from Little Current, take Highway 540 to West Bay, then Highway 551 toward Mindemoya. Follow Highway 542 East for a few miles and turn left onto Silver Bay Road. After one mile, take the sharp right turn, travel half a mile, and turn left onto Mill Road until you reach 249 Mill Road. Access is also possible via the Tobermory-South Baymouth ferry or by plane to YZE and YEM airports with shuttle service available.

This 200-acre estate offers nine rustic cabins ranging from one to four bedrooms, located directly on the waterfront. Nous avons passé une semaine formidable au Maple. Le Timberlane Rustic Lodge est exactement comme décrit. Rustique, certes, mais le chalet était très propre, tout comme les draps et les serviettes, et l'eau chaude était abondante. Nous avons loué un bateau pour la majeure partie de notre séjour, idéal pour de longues heures de pêche. Un endroit magnifique et isolé. Nous avons pu observer de nombreux animaux sauvages sur place (cerfs, grues du Canada et renards). Si vous recherchez des vacances paisibles et sans stress dans la plus belle région de l'Ontario, je vous le recommande vivement.

Cet endroit était génial ! La propriété est magnifique et le chalet avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Malheureusement, le service de restauration est suspendu en raison de la COVID, mais il y a un barbecue ! Mark, le propriétaire, allume un feu au bord du lac tous les soirs et on peut louer des bateaux pour explorer le lac. C'était une escapade formidable.

Magnifique chalet avec une entrée bordée d'arbres. Première visite sur l'île Manitoulin et l'expérience a été formidable. L'emplacement, l'hôte et le service étaient exceptionnels. Je reviendrai et séjournerai dans le même chalet. Nous avons séjourné au chalet BIRCH.

Endroit magnifique ! Nous étions invités à un mariage et avons passé deux nuits dans le chalet Birch. Tout est un peu vieillot, mais je pense que c'est ce qui fait son charme. Les propriétaires étaient très serviables et se sont occupés de tout. Il y a des pommiers partout. Nous n'avons pas pêché, mais apparemment le poisson est excellent. Nous y retournerions avec plaisir.

Nous avons été extrêmement satisfaits ! Un emplacement exceptionnel. Un chalet au bord de l'eau, en pleine nature. Le personnel était incroyablement sympathique et très serviable. Le petit-déjeuner et le dîner étaient à la hauteur de nos attentes. Le feu de camp au bord du lac était un lieu de rencontre très apprécié des clients chaque soir. Les hébergements (des chalets individuels en bois) étaient simples mais parfaitement convenables. Il est possible de louer des bateaux à moteur sur place (à des prix très raisonnables !). En bref : si vous recherchez un hébergement typique (où de nombreux Canadiens passent également leurs vacances) et que vous n'attendez pas un luxe excessif, vous ne serez pas déçus.
