The outfitter
Led by professional guide Ross Kinch, a member of the Alberta Professional Outfitters Society, Trophy Stalkers offers guided hunting expeditions across Alberta. The outfitter chooses to host a limited number of hunters each year to ensure personalized service and a tailor-made hunting experience. The season kicks off in winter with coyote and wolf hunts. In the spring, six-day trips are dedicated to black bear in North-Central Alberta. Conducted from blinds over baited sites, this hunt is open to both bow and rifle hunters and offers the opportunity to harvest up to two black bears and one wolf, with a high

occurrence of color-phase specimens. In September and October, the outfitter organizes migratory bird hunts in the heart of the Alberta flyway. Hunters target several species of geese (Canada, Snow, Ross's, and Greater White-fronted) and ducks (Mallard, Pintail), as well as upland game like Hungarian Partridge and Sharp-tailed Grouse. During the autumn rut, ten-day expeditions are also organized for moose and elk in the wilderness areas bordering the Wabasca River, focusing primarily on calling techniques. In November, Whitetail and Mule deer hunts take place in the agricultural zones and rural lands of West-Central Alberta, mainly through spot-and-stalk methods or from tree stands. Accommodations vary by package: wilderness camps in wood-stove-heated wall tents with cots for big game, or a comfortable country house for waterfowl hunts. Stays include on-site prepared meals and field dressing of game.
