This is where I take refuge to forget everything. Sheltered by the shell of Turtle Mountain, I feel safe, surrounded by all the beauty of the Manitoban forest. With the charming town of Boissevain just a stone's throw away, it's always a pleasure!

We had a pleasant stay at the Adam Lake campground! We set off on the canoe trip down Oskar Lake, a real adventure. Having a 6-metre rope came in very handy for hauling the kayaks up the steepest sections. The trail marking was good until we reached the James Lake cabin, where we found no signs for the portages. As night was falling, we had to turn back. Despite everything, an adventure well worth the trip!

I have been here twice. I camped a few years ago and did a 15 km hike this week. The trails are very well maintained and wide. However, they are a bit monotonous. There isn't much to see because they are so well maintained and the hike is very easy. It might be ideal for children or beginners. It would be great in winter for skiing and mountain biking. I saw a porcupine on the trail, which was cool. There are heated cabins with pit toilets and wood stoves at every rally point. The walk can be long or short and the trails are very well marked.

Beautiful place, but no mountains or turtles :) It's a nice park with many serviced campsites and a very welcoming staff. Ideal for a 3 to 4 day stay in touch with nature. Don't forget the bug spray!
