Owned by Sean Clement, the establishment offers fishing trips on Wabatongushi Lake for walleye, northern pike, yellow perch, and whitefish, as well as excursions to secondary lakes for bass and trout. Accommodations include a large three-bedroom main lodge, two self-contained units in the old general store, and a third building. A friendly and authentic setting.

Territory and geography

Wabatong Lodge is established in the ghost town of Lochalsh, a former railway and gold mining village in Ontario. The territory is located just 400 meters south of Wabatongushi Lake, nestled in the southwest corner of the Chapleau Game Preserve. This isolated wilderness environment is home to varied wildlife, where bears, moose, and eagles are frequently spotted during fishing trips.
