Accommodations include 15 modern two-bedroom log cabins equipped with kitchens and BBQs. In both summer and winter, you can fish for lake trout, northern pike, walleye, and burbot. Excursions are conducted by boat, by ATV to remote waters, or by fly-in trips to isolated camps, including meals and guide services.
Located north of the 54th parallel, the territory extends across the Canadian Shield around Lake Athapapuskow, whose Cree name means "rocks all around." This 267-square-kilometer glacial lake reaches depths of 233 feet and features over 1,100 islands divided into three sections: Big Athapap, Little Athapap, and the North Arm. The surrounding landscape offers a rugged, rocky wilderness. While the main site is road-accessible, visitors can also reach remote lakes by ATV or aircraft.
