We went back fishing with Darren yesterday, November 26, 2025. The start was a bit slow, but then we reeled in four salmon and kept two nice ones. I would have loved to catch a third one, but I missed it. That's fishing! We spotted several humpback whales. Darren's boat was in excellent condition. I really hope to go fishing with him again soon. We had already done a half-day fishing trip with Darren Beasley on Boxing Day 2023. It was a great addition to our Christmas festivities in the State of Victoria. Nice boat, four nice fish kept, the rest released, and plenty to see in Victoria Harbour.

I spent a full day fishing with Darren. It was awesome from start to finish. He is a true professional with a lifetime of experience (invaluable in this business). First off, if you're reading reviews, remember that it's called fishing, not catching! That being said, we had an incredible catch. I learned a lot and really loved this trip out on the water. Darren was an exceptional host for our 6-hour fishing trip for 6! Even though fishing is always a great joy, experienced anglers know that fish don't always bite! Before our trip, Darren gave us excellent advice to optimize our catch and clearly set expectations.
