Fed by Morice Lake, this clear, temperate river is part of the Skeena River system and flows through the Bulkley Valley between mountains and boreal forest. This wilderness sector has no direct neighbors. Travel on the river is primarily by jet boat to access various fishing runs. The lower canyon section, which is particularly remote, is explored exclusively by raft during a two-day expedition.
