I only come here to rent a canoe for the day or to go backcountry camping at Caddy Lake. The service is good and very friendly.

I booked a motorboat over Labour Day weekend. The staff was welcoming and helpful. I recommend taking a half-day (about 3 to 4 hours) so you can visit both tunnels without worrying about getting back. I also advise going early in the morning, as it was very busy in the afternoon and all the motorboats were likely reserved. Canoeing is also a good option, but you might need the entire day to explore both tunnels and get back.

I have been coming to Caddy Lake Resort since childhood, and it is always a place filled with fond memories and relaxing stays. It is truly a special place that I look forward to returning to every year. This time, we stayed in cabin #7: very spacious with a magnificent view of the lake. The gazebo was a great idea, especially to enjoy the outdoors without getting eaten alive by bugs. The BBQ worked well, and overall, the bugs weren't too bad. That being said, the horseflies were quite aggressive as usual, and there was a wasp nest nearby; my father and my friend got stung, so it's best to be careful. We took a kayak trip to the tunnels, about a 30-minute paddle. That part of the stay was truly magnificent, as always. In summary, it was a good stay. Not perfect, but a good trip nonetheless, with a few things to watch out for.
