Reservoir Gouin is a true inland sea at the heart of Mauricie—Québec’s 4th largest freshwater body of water, stretching over more than 100 km by 60 km. Created by the construction of a dam, it is dotted with hundreds of bays and islands, offering exceptional habitat for yellow walleye and great Northern pike. Its size and isolation make it a well-known fishing and hunting destination, where several outfitters share its wild shoreline.
