We spent two nights ice fishing. The cottage was perfectly set up for six people: clean, warm, and comfortable. We caught some nice walleye and had a great time.

I just got back from a fishing trip at Sand Bay cottages. The bungalow was great, with plenty of room for our group. The huts were spacious and comfortable. Jeff and his team made sure we found fish. They even relocated us when that wasn't the case. I would happily go back.

We spent a week at Chalkley's Sandy Bay cottages. We loved our stay. Our cottage was comfortable and fully equipped. We rented a boat and enjoyed some fishing and exploring the area. The boat was also very well equipped. Our kids really enjoyed the water toys (paddleboard, kayaks, etc.). The sandy cove is well sheltered and shallow, making it easy to launch and retrieve water equipment. Plus, the owners, Jeff and Kim, are wonderful people, very friendly and always ready to help. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.

Second annual stay, even better than the first! Minnows available right in your heated hut, smooth and comfortable transport, modern and well-equipped cottages. What more could you ask for in an ideal fishing destination? Jeff takes you straight to the right spot, plain and simple. In three days, across two different huts, we caught 80 fish and delicious walleye. A huge thank you to Jeff! We booked our 2021 trip as soon as we left.

AMAZING DAY! I had an extraordinary day of ice fishing. The hut was warm and comfortable, and the walleye were biting! We caught at least 12 and were able to keep 3. (There was an outhouse, which, frankly, was unexpected and a real relief.) The Chalkleys are perfect hosts, welcoming and accommodating. The campground is picturesque with great views, even in winter. It must be beautiful in summer. I also visited a few cottages and they are all very nice, well equipped, and perfect for families. I'm sorry the season is already almost over. Jeff Chalkley knows his lake like the back of his hand and knows where the best fishing spots are. I will definitely be back in the summer for boating, but it will be hard to top this day.
