I have been going to Canada for over 30 years. A stay at Delaney Lake Lodge is a must. The staff is wonderful, the food is excellent, and the cabins are spotless. The fishing was fantastic: both of my kids caught their biggest walleye to date. Jill and Chris, thank you for a fantastic trip!

We stayed at Delaney the first week of June 2026. It was my first time back since I was 10 years old. The place was just as nice as in my memories from 18 years ago. The fishing was fantastic. Our group caught several pike over a meter long and even a muskie. Our guides were great, especially Dillon. He was really attentive and excited for us with every great catch. Besides the fishing, the staff was incredibly friendly and the food was excellent. Every meal was a treat. If you are considering a fishing trip to Canada, I highly recommend Delaney Lake Lodge. I'm already looking forward to returning. Thank you for a fantastic week!

It's one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, with magnificent scenery and a peaceful atmosphere that invites you to savor every moment. The people who run the lodge were wonderful; they welcomed us like family members and made us feel welcome right from our arrival. Their kindness and hospitality truly made this trip even more special. The guides were also exceptional. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable, they went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a fantastic fishing experience. It was my first time at Delaney Lake Lodge and I have nothing but praise for the staff. They work tirelessly to make your stay perfect. Carl, at the dock, is at work from morning to night. And he's always smiling! Amanda and Janessa are lovely and attentive in the dining room, and they also clean all the rooms between meals. Andrea is the chef and he is very talented: his cheesecake, tiramisu, and lasagna are incredible, just like the rest of the meal. The food is truly delicious. The guides – Tommy, Willy, Jeremy, and Daryl – were very friendly and knew the water system perfectly. They put us on some beautiful fish. They also prepare a shore lunch that beats any fish fry I've enjoyed in Wisconsin. The fish is cooked three ways (baked, battered, and breaded), served with potatoes, beans or corn, sometimes onion rings, and the best tartar sauce I've ever eaten. Maybe I shouldn't say so much, as it will make it harder to get a spot, but Jill and Chris run an exceptional resort and deserve to be fully booked for the entire season! Thank you everyone for a wonderful week. I ate too much and caught a ton of big fish!
