Situated on a ten-acre waterfront estate, the establishment offers eleven renovated cabins with kitchenettes, accommodations in the main lodge, and campsites. The team provides guided black bear hunting trips in the spring and fall, as well as exceptional fishing in the summer or on the ice in winter. A fleet of rental boats, guided pontoon outings with shore lunches, and an on-site store complete this northern adventure.

The owners are a wonderful couple. If you want to know where to fish, they will happily advise you. Their goal is for you to succeed, because the lake is vast. Here you'll find some of the best walleye in the region, not to mention the magnificent Northern pike.

My son, my brother-in-law and I just spent a long fishing weekend at Dore Lake Lodge. Nicole and Ian are exceptional hosts. They gave us excellent advice on the best spots on the lake to catch fish quickly, as it was our first visit to Dore Lake Lodge. The campsite was clean and we were surrounded by friendly regulars who also gave us valuable advice about the lake. The lake is truly exceptional. First, it is beautiful and incredibly full of fish. We were fishing for walleye with bottom rigs and got immediate results, with most of our catches exceeding 1.8 kg. On the last day, my son pulled out a 66 cm, 7.3 kg walleye. Great campsite, wonderful hosts, fantastic fishing, we will definitely be back.

I found this place while searching for fishing lodges. What a find! Beautiful scenery, exceptional fishing, and Nicchole and Ian are wonderful hosts. You can see all the work they've put into this lodge. There is a playground for kids, a fish cleaning shack, fuel on site, and a charming little general store. We rented a boat and spent 12 hours total on lac Dore. The boats are clean and equipped with everything needed for a day of fishing: net, oars, cooler for catches, measuring board, anchor, and fish finder! We will go back every year for sure!
