We just finished our hunting trip, and it exceeded all our expectations. The experience was exceptional. The food was delicious, the guides knowledgeable, professional, and attentive, and the hunting and fishing opportunities excellent. Every aspect of the trip was perfectly organized and enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for better and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch wilderness adventure.

First bear hunting experience with Otter Creek Outfitters. Upon arriving at camp, we learned that the other four hunters were regulars and we knew right away we had found the ideal camp. Everything was perfect. A full-time chef prepared hearty meals for us morning, noon, and night, and set aside fresh pastries for our long waits in the tree stands. The camp was clean and tidy, with enough space to gather with friends or spend time alone. The guides were excellent, always monitoring baits, cameras, etc. The tree stands were large and comfortable, securely anchored in the trees and easy to access. There were tons of bears in the area. Our camp posted a 100% success rate. The draw system for assigning tree stands guaranteed equal opportunity: everyone had the same chance of occupying the stands where bear activity was highest. Once our hunting quota was reached, Ed and Cal set up a lake fishing trip for us, providing a boat and ATVs for our transportation. If there is one thing these folks could improve, I can't think of what it would be. 100% recommend and hope to return soon. Thank you Ed, Faryn, Cal, and Ron for this great experience!

Ed and Faryn run a top-notch and very professional operation! I just got back from a successful black bear hunt: all participants were able to harvest a bear and we saw many fine specimens at almost every stand. Ed and Cal's work before our arrival was truly remarkable: they had made sure the baits, tree stands, and cameras were functional and well-maintained. Faryn stayed in touch with us, answering all our questions before the trip and keeping us updated with the latest trail camera photos. Ronnie, the chef, keeps the lodge spotless and treated us to delicious meals throughout the stay, welcoming us with a smile and snacks after every outing. After harvesting a bear, I was able to fish at my leisure, and Ed and Cal didn't hesitate to give me good advice and go out of their way to put boats in the water and move us around. Great hunt, great people: nothing to complain about my week, I will definitely be back!

The entire team was very professional. They always made sure there were plenty of bears around us. Booking a hunt with them was a breeze. They were very helpful before, during, and after the hunt. I had a great time and can't wait to come back for another hunt. Highly recommend.
