Lake George — George Lake Outfitters

George Lake is a 6,000-acre wilderness water body located in Northern Saskatchewan, approximately 89 air miles northwest of La Ronge. Accessible exclusively by float plane, this 200-foot-deep lake has been under a trophy fishery management program since 2003. It holds excellent populations of northern pike and lake trout, with specimens regularly exceeding 35 inches and occasionally topping 50 inches. The outfitter also offers guided black bear hunting across the vast surrounding territory. On-site accommodations feature a main lodge for dining and renovated guest cabins situated along a sandy beach shoreline.
