Great River Fishing Adventures

Superb day on the water in partnership with the Métis Nation and Great River Fishing. We learned so much about the different fish species, local habitats, and waterways. All the guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Dean was my guide and I had a wonderful time with him! He was very encouraging and fun from start to finish. I highly recommend!

Our team had a great time fishing with Mitch! Despite the tough bite, he still helped us land two magnificent specimens, including a 2.34 m one that I was lucky enough to pull out of the water. It was a wonderful first experience fishing for these monsters. Mitch was awesome and gave us every chance to succeed. I highly recommend GRFA and I will definitely be back.

Great job GRFA! The bite on 2 the day trip was slow due to rising water levels and debris in the water, challenging fishing conditions for sure! That said the guide, the boat and equipment were top notch, our young guide Dawson worked super hard for us to touch some fish and touch fish we did. I caught and landed a 10’, 480lbs sturgeon, the fish of a lifetime! I can’t ever remember being so excited to catch a fish, Dawson was great and took excellent pictures to commemorate the occasion! I will highly recommend GRFA to my friends and I’m sure we will be back again for another Fraser Canyon adventure! Cheers Ken

We spent the first week of October 2025 in British Columbia with Dawson as our guide. Dawson was exceptional: he combined professionalism and friendliness. Among the species caught, we notably landed chinook, coho, sockeye, and chum salmon weighing over 9 kg. We also spent an unforgettable day in the Fraser Canyon in search of sturgeon.
