What could be better than a special father-and-son moment fishing for muskie, that fish that is so hard to catch? We had never caught one before and were considering driving nine hours north to lac des Bois. In the end, no need to go far! We hired a guide, Jesse, for a half-day in the lacs Kawartha region, and our muskie dream came true. After two hours of fishing, we landed an impressive specimen that hit the hook aggressively right beside the boat. No photos, as we didn't want to stress it given the water temperature. The northern pike fishing was also excellent. Jesse knows the bottom structure inside out and doesn't hesitate to vary techniques to find the right one. I highly recommend him.

We spent four hours fishing for bass and we were not disappointed! Jesse is not only an excellent guide with top-of-the-line equipment, but also great company.
