We booked a cabin for last weekend, July 17th. Online booking was very easy. I was very impressed, as we were a group and had questions. Jenna was a great help and responded very quickly. The drive to the cabin went very well and the roads were good, apart from a few potholes. Helena, the resort manager, was very friendly and always available to help us. We were so impressed that we are already considering booking for next year!

It's a beautiful, peaceful, and rustic place tucked away in the woods. You feel like you're stepping back in time and rediscovering the simplicity of life in days gone by. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Reservations are required and there is a 3-night minimum stay. We were at site 8, which was big enough for an 8.5-metre trailer (just barely)... Don't arrive with a larger vehicle, because you won't be able to get out. There are showers and flush toilets, but no hookups. The main lodge has a large common area ideal for doing puzzles or playing pool on rainy days. The lake is crystal-clear and canoes and kayaks are available for rent to enjoy it.

This place is a real little gem. Barb, Jim, and the whole team are exceptionally kind hosts. The cabins and bathrooms are impeccably clean. Cleaner than some 5-star hotels I've stayed at. Since the bathrooms/showers are shared, you might expect muddy facilities in rainy weather, but the floors, toilets, and even the walls were spotlessly clean. I wish I could have stayed longer. Because of the elevation, the weather is changeable. It can be cold and rainy for a few days. But as soon as the sun shines, it is absolutely gorgeous. So make sure you stay long enough to fully enjoy everything. There is so much to do here. If only to unplug and spend time with loved ones. My only tip: a new mattress would be welcome.

We rented kayaks and then a motorboat to enjoy the beautiful lake today. What a charming little local business! Barb and Dorothy were lovely, whether by email, phone, or in person. After our time on the lake, we took a stroll around the resort and there were plenty of happy campers. We hope to camp there or rent a cabin, as the place seemed perfect to us!

An absolutely beautiful little lakeside campground! My boyfriend and I had an exceptional stay. The owners, Jim and Barb, were incredibly friendly and welcoming; they even invited us to dinner one evening. The lake is splendid, the water is crystal-clear, and the fishing is excellent. Great hiking trails surround the lake. It's a charming, rustic spot in the middle of the woods, which means there is no cell service. It was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back next summer!
