Stony Rapids, this lake is managed under a strict catch-and-release policy to maintain its exceptional fishery, with the exception of fish taken for shore lunch. Anglers find a large population of trophy northern pike inhabiting shallow bays throughout the summer, as well as very large lake trout caught by trolling or vertical jigging depending on water depth. Additionally, the Porcupine River flows into Milton Lake at its northern end, introducing an abundance of arctic grayling. To explore the lake, the outfitter provides 17-foot Lund Outfitter boats equipped with 40 HP Yamaha 4-stroke motors, GPS sonars, and swivel seats.
