Pourvoirie Moisie-Ouapetec SEC holds exclusive Atlantic salmon fishing rights over 77.5 km (48 mi) of the Moisie and Ouapetec rivers, on the Nitassinan (unceded Innu territory), east of Sept-Îles on the Côte-Nord. The Moisie — mythic and powerful — ranks among the best salmon rivers in eastern North America: every year, salmon of 20, 30 and even 40 pounds are landed here. This is the birthplace of the famous 'Club 16-20' — landing a salmon over 20 pounds on a no.16 fly. The outfitter hosts a maximum of 6 anglers who share the territory up to the Joseph rapids, giving

access to more than 10 pools, including the 5 most productive pools facing the lodge and three excellent pools less than 20 minutes away on the Ouapetec River. Fishing is fly-only, with a guide and boat for every two anglers, from early July to mid-September. Lodging is in cabins (two per cabin, all amenities) and meals showcase Quebec terroir cuisine and seafood, served at the main pavilion. The stay is all-inclusive (except alcohol and tip), and includes transport from Sept-Îles.
