On the way to Dawson, we had breakfast there one day – scrambled eggs with bacon and hash browns – and lunch on the way back – bison burgers 🍔 Both were fantastic and I highly recommend them… Even worse, the homemade tarts 🍪🧁… Butter tarts and fruit tarts… so delicious that I bought eight 🙈🙈🙈 You absolutely must stop there just for that (my favourite was the butter tart)… and don't forget the fresh coffee ☕️ !

A little gem in the middle of nowhere. I spent a night there during a motorcycle trip from Los Angeles to the Arctic Ocean. Maja was a charming host, who even made me a breakfast sandwich for the next day, as I was planning to leave before opening. The cabin was rustic and cozy, and even the dogs were adorable. Ideal for a quick meal or an overnight stay.

The lady who runs this place took such good care of me during my recent cycling adventure that I just had to leave her a 5-star review! I had ridden a long way, was a bit cold and hungry, and there was no other place to eat for a very long time. Unfortunately, the lady was going through a difficult time (related to her pet, it was really sad), and yet, despite that, and even though her restaurant was closed, she opened it and served me hot soup, a stew, and a few other little things to take with me for the rest of my trip. I was deeply touched by her kindness, especially during such a complicated time for her. A huge thank you again for your help, I really appreciated it and it's thanks to her that I was able to make it all the way to Whitehorse!

We stopped here on the way back to Whitehorse to grab a bite to eat. I had the bison burger, which was delicious, and the chicken rice soup. At $17, I think it's great value for money. They also have clean washrooms and hot showers available for travellers. I recommend stopping by and supporting this small business, especially right now with the construction work slowing down their business.
