Fishing is exclusively for brook trout (speckled trout) across 14 lakes, of which 5 hold a 100% native, naturally reproducing population and 2 are dedicated to children. Pourvoirie Club Rossignol has a long tradition of hospitality in the heart of the Hautes-Laurentides, attracting outdoor and fishing enthusiasts for several decades, some of whom have visited every year since 1993. August 3, 2018, marked a major turning point in the establishment's history with its acquisition by Mr. Pierre Lévesque. Under his leadership, the outfitter committed to a strong ecological shift, focusing on the preservation of its 73-square-kilometer territory, the protection of wildlife and aquatic habitats, and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Starting in 2019, significant modernization and renovation work was undertaken. The welcome infrastructure and cabins were
restored and equipped with modern amenities, while solar energy systems were progressively deployed on the buildings, culminating in 2024 with the commissioning of a 3,500 W photovoltaic network aimed at reducing generator use. The site's recent history is also marked by a major tornado in 2019. This natural event inspired the creation of the Tornade and Chablis interpretation trails, designed in collaboration with Jean-Marie Morin and Jocelyne Maheux to help hikers discover forest regeneration and local wildlife. These initiatives in innovation, activity diversification, and sustainable development earned Pourvoirie Club Rossignol media recognition in May 2024, through an article published in the Journal de Montréal and Journal de Québec highlighting its exemplary environmental practices within the Quebec tourism industry.

Its location makes it about 2 hours and 45 minutes by road from the Montréal area, making it an easy road-access destination for getaways, fishing, and hunting stays. The terrain consists of forested mountains and valleys sheltering a diverse range of terrestrial and aquatic wildlife. The territory features 19 lakes, 13 of which are dedicated to sport fishing. Brook trout, also known as speckled trout, is the outfitter's flagship species. Half of the lakes in operation host 100% native and wild trout populations, while
other bodies of water are regularly stocked with lake-reared trout. The forest is home to several species of big game, including moose, white-tailed deer, and black bear. For hunting purposes, the territory is subdivided into exclusive sectors equipped with blinds, tree stands, and prepared bait sites. Small game is also well-represented in these forest and wetland environments. Visitors can encounter ruffed grouse (partridge) and snowshoe hare, as well as migratory birds passing through the waterways. For hunting enthusiasts, specialized packages are offered for big and small game. Moose and white-tailed deer hunting is conducted with bow, crossbow, or firearm in exclusive sectors with blinds. Black bear hunting
with firearms includes maintained bait sites, tree stands, guide services, a rifle sighting session, and access to a cold room. Small game and migratory bird hunting allows visitors to explore the trails in search of partridge and hare. During the summer season, the resort offers a fleet of recreational watercraft including kayaks, two-person canoes, pedal boats, paddleboards, and inner tubes. Séjour du 22 au 25 juin 2026. Le personnel est très gentil et très accueillant. Le chalet était très propre, l'équipement (chaloupe, moteur) fonctionnait très bien. En plus, bcp de poissons!!!! Je recommande à 100%

Nous revenons d'un très beau 5 jours en famille! Beaux chalets bien équipés et propres. Gaétan est un hôte fabuleux qui prend soins de sa visite! Nous étions traités aux petits oignons! La chaleur n'étant pas de notre côté pour la pêche, nous avons bien été guidés afin de maximiser notre expérience et d'avoir de belles prises tout de même! Un énorme merci nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation.
