Across five clustered lakes you fish in summer for walleye, pike, lake trout, bass, sturgeon and whitefish, and in winter an ice-fishing village (open December 20 to March 31) where you take pike, cisco, whitefish, walleye, burbot and yellow perch from lit cabins. On the hunting side, you pursue moose and deer with bow, crossbow or rifle over baited blinds, and from September to March partridge and hare can be
hunted free with a cabin rental. Summer and winter alike, the ATV and snowmobile trails run right from the outfitter. Lodging includes 6 cabins with docks (2 to 8 people, open year-round) and 2 rustic summer cabins, offered on the European plan or the American plan (two meals a day). Boats, motors and pontoons are available to rent, gas included, with a fish-cleaning room at the dock. Hiking, birdwatching and wild-mushroom foraging round out the stay.
Pourvoirie Cockanagog was born from the shared passion of its owners, Sylvain Castonguay and Carmen Lavallée, for the great outdoors and nature retreats. Having fallen under the spell of the landscapes of Lake Cockanagog and its wild surroundings near Ferme-Neuve, they chose to partner up to turn their love for the outdoors into a way of life. Cockanagog Outfitters is located at 1195, Chemin Cockanagog, in the municipality of Ferme-Neuve, in the heart of the Laurentides region. The territory stretches along Lac Cockanagog, offering a natural setting bordered by water and forest scenery. The outfitter’s grounds feature a vast wilderness area suited to outdoor activities such as hiking, birdwatching, and picking wild mushrooms. The site benefits from a geographic location near Montagne du Diable. This area provides access to a network of ATV and snowmobile trails, including federated trails as well as off-trail riding navigation zones. The aquatic territory is also connected to the Aire Faunique Communautaire

The outfitter offers equipment rentals, including motorboats and pontoons. Boaters can also dock their own boats at the central wharf equipped with electrical outlets. On-site, anglers have access to an evisceration room equipped for cleaning their catch, bait sales (worms, dead minnows, leeches), ice, fishing tackle, as well as fishing permits and access rights (AFC Baskatong). From December 20 to March 31, the outfitter sets up an ice fishing village with wood-heated, lit
huts, allowing for both day and night fishing. Hunting activities are organized across a vast territory. Big game hunting (moose, deer, bear) is practiced with rifles, bows, or crossbows using baited blinds. From September to March, small game enthusiasts can hunt partridge and hare. Bonjour. Nous arrivons d'une merveilleuse semaine de pêche à cette pourvoirie. Carmen et Sylvain nous ont super bien accueillis. Avec leur bras droit Guy, ils ont été la toute la semaine pour nous guider et répondre à nos questions. Le chalet hyper propre. Nous avons bien dormi. Matelas confortable. Je les recommande haut la main !!

Très beau séjour à cette pourvoirie ; accueil, service, commodité, propreté, qualité de pêche, tout y est ! Je recommande fortement ! Première fois pour moi et la troisième pour mon conjoint. Nous y avons séjourné 5 jours pour la pêche à la glace cette fois-ci et avons vraiment eu du bon temps. Merci encore et à bientôt !

Quel endroit formidable , mes amis et moi sommes allé lors de notre dernier voyage de vtt. Nous sommes arrivés tard mais Carmen nous attendait avec un magnifique souper et sa super gentillesse. Le chalet était super et que dire du déjeuner le lendemain matin wow. Je vous recommande fortement cette endroit je vais y retourner sûrement,. Merci Carmen

Un endroit exceptionnellement bien entretenu avec un service remarquable. À aucun moment nous n'avons eu l'impression de déranger les propriétaires associés Carmen et Sylvain lorsque nous avons eu besoin d'assistance. Par exemple, Sylvain a gentiment répondu à notre demande en nous fournissant gratuitement du ketchup que nous avions oublié, et Guy, l'employé sur place, a même proposé de sortir notre bateau du lac à la fin de notre séjour car nos pneus n'étaient pas adaptés au terrain. Il a pris l'initiative de nous aider avec bras ouverts, allant jusqu'à resserrer un boulon du support à pied du moteur avec un outil que nous n'avions pas apporté, mais que la pourvoirie a pu nous fournir, nous sauvant ainsi de cette situation. Après avoir visité plusieurs pourvoiries depuis mes 25 ans, je peux dire que celle-ci est de loin la plus belle que j'ai vue. Ici, vous trouverez assurément la tranquillité d'esprit et le calme. Le lac est très paisible, parfait pour la pêche, sans être dérangé par des motomarines à proximité, et les quais sont extrêmement stables. Durant tout notre séjour, personne n’a organisé de fêtes bruyantes; les gens viennent vraiment ici pour se reconnecter avec la nature. Je peux vous confirmer qu’en tout temps, je ne regrette aucunement mon voyage de 4 nuits et j’y retourne pour 10 nuits la prochaine fois car on s’oublie dans le temps là-bas.

Beau petit chalet très propres et très bien équipé. Propriétaires accueillants et sympathiques. Descente de bateaux facile d'utilisation. Superbe plan d'eau. Seul petit point négatif: l'accès au quai du chalet. Le terrain a une bonne pente et est assez rocheux. Pas idéal pour les jeunes enfants et les personnes âgées. La jonction entre le quai et la terre ferme pourrait être améliorée, il faut se mouiller les pieds pour embarquer sur le quai.
