It is one of the rare territories where walleye and brook trout share the same waters, offering quality fishing from May to September. The estate also offers moose hunting and spring black bear hunting (May 15 to June 30) over blinds and baited sites, plus combined bear-and-fishing packages. Lodging ranges from the pavilion to the cabins (Rustic, Prestige, Loft and Grand Lounan) on the shore of Lake Tauront, with fully comfortable rooms (private bathroom, hot water, heating, electric lighting),
on the European or American plan. Through the seasons: snowmobiling in winter (trails connecting to Mont-Laurier, Saint-Michel-des-Saints and Parent), canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming at the beach, hiking, biking and ATV in summer. On-site services: boat and motor rentals, a fish-cleaning station, extra fridges, private showers, internet access and a bait shop.

Domaine Lounan features an exclusive 160-square-kilometer territory in the heart of the Hautes-Laurentides, dotted with 32 lakes and rivers, including Lake Tauront. This preserved forest environment provides an aquatic and terrestrial habitat particularly well-suited to regional wildlife. Regarding aquatic life, the territory is characterized by the coexistence of walleye and brook trout (speckled trout) within the same bodies of water, offering a diverse aquatic habitat. The outfitter provides anglers with a designated station for cleaning and freezing their catch. As for terrestrial wildlife, the territory is home to moose and black bear populations. Moose hunting is managed through a strict
annual harvest policy to preserve the quality of the herd and maintain a high success rate. For black bear hunting, the territory includes several baited zones equipped with hunting stands. The estate's facilities are equipped to facilitate the retrieval and preservation of hunting trophies.
Domaine Lounan offers a range of seasonal outdoor activities throughout its territory. In spring and summer, walleye and brook trout fishing are among the main activities. Visitors have access to boat launches as well as rental services for motorboats, electric or gasoline motors, and life jackets. The lakes and rivers are perfect for swimming at the beach, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and water excursions. On land, dozens of kilometers of forest trails allow for hiking, cycling, and ATVing, as the estate serves as an ATV relay. Picnic and wildlife observation areas are located along the lakes and rivers. Starting in mid-September,
the forest canopy provides a stunning backdrop for autumn colors. For hunting, packages target moose as well as black bear at baited sites with stands, including packages that combine bear hunting and fishing. During the winter season, the estate becomes a snowmobile relay. Located at the center of the Sentiers des Coureurs des bois and accessible via Trans-Québec trails 13 and 33, it is linked by groomed trails to the networks of Mont-Laurier, Saint-Michel-des-Saints, and Parent. Fresh snow zones are also accessible for off-trail snowmobiling. The site includes a shop stocked with convenience items (worms, ice), a dining room with a capacity of 80 people for events and meetings, as well as infrastructure for landing wheeled aircraft (unregistered airstrip), floatplanes, and helicopters.

Pour une première visite, nous sommes enchantés. Au delà de nos espérances. Nous avions le chalet, l'Ours. Super. Nous visitons plusieurs pourvoiries par hiver et celle-ci se classe parmi les tops 1. Qualité de l'accueil au repas, c'est parfait. On y repassera. En bonus des aurores boréales.

Très bel accueil, nous recherchions des directions et des saucisses à hot-dog et ils nous ont bien guidé et sur notre retour nous sommes arrêtés manger au restaurant. Très accueillant et chaleureux, sympathique. Nourriture réconfort qui fait changement de la nourriture de camping. Je recommande!
