A very nice week, cold but great. Estella & Pierre are exceptional owners. They take care of their guests to make sure everything is going well and that we want for nothing. Very nice evening watching hockey with a lot of campers. Everyone has a spot. Thanks again Nicole & Raymond Legros

Perfect for snowmobilers!!! We spent 2 nights at the outfitter and the place is beyond welcoming! You feel right at home! Pierre, Estella and Bruno welcome you to their place as if you were at home! Beautiful cabins, very clean and functional! As for food, you eat like kings there!!! I will definitely go back and I highly recommend the place to everyone!

Recent 2-night stay at the chasse galerie cabin. Super nice outfitter, on the facilities, comfort and cleanliness side, it must be said it's very good. The BBQ and the oven were not top top but functional. To get there, the road is easy to access and well maintained. It's about 40 minutes of gravel. As for the lake and scenery, it's really beautiful. Vast expanse of water to fish that allows you to change spots often. Access to other lakes by navigating easily. That's the biggest strong point, the spot is super beautiful. Another strong point is the aluminum boats and motors, they are brand new and work very well. Where there was a shortcoming was on the fishing side. That remains a very personal experience, but on our end we were disappointed. In the peak of walleye season, only 1 walleye caught among the 8 of us present, 4 pike and a few yellow perch. We're talking about a gang of experienced fishermen and a few beginners. We used the map provided by the owner to target the best spots based on the species, but it didn't work and it seemed a bit imprecise. Talking with other fishermen, they didn't have a better experience than us. Pierre the owner preaches a lot for his own parish because when we shared our fishing experience with him, he remained vague, saying it's like that everywhere. In our impression, we believe the lake is overfished because there were a lot of people. There are the other cabins, the owner's campground, several other private cabins and campgrounds all fishing in the same lake. Catches are not controlled and since the lake is not Pierre's exclusive property, there is no tracking done regarding the lake's inventory. Pierre and Estella are nevertheless very friendly and welcoming. In short, here is our honest opinion. Despite the unsuccessful fishing, if you go without expectations, there's a way to have a ton of fun and unwind.
