On the shores of Lac Portage and Lac Champagne, in the Appalachians of the Chaudière-Appalaches region at St-Théophile, Pourvoirie du Lac Portage occupies a rustic estate built by the Breakey family in the early 1900s and run as a private hunting and fishing club from 1920 on. The 22 km² forested territory, which borders the Canada-US line, is now owned by the Nature Conservancy, while the outfitter has been operated by Gestizone since 2016. Fishing takes place on four lakes for brook trout and rainbow trout, while lodging is offered in a century-old inn and five fully equipped rustic cabins.

Superbe séjour à la pourvoirie au Lac Portage pour la pêche à la truite! Ce n'était pas la grosse période quand nous y sommes allés au mois d'août, mais nous en avons pêché quelques-unes quand même! Le chalet des Chutes était très bien et assez grand! Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et bien organisés!
