From Autoroute 15 North then Route 117 North: 10 km past Lac Saguay turn right onto Route 311 North and drive 16 km, turn left toward Lac St-Paul and Mont-St-Michel, at Mont-St-Michel turn right and drive 3 km, turn right onto the dirt road, at km 82 turn left and follow signs for Parent. Cabin access roads are dirt and gravel, drivable by car, light truck, 4x4 or ATV depending on the cabin; some remote lakes are reachable only by water with a short or medium portage. Heliport at km 119 (Air Medic member, helicopter medical evacuation).

In the heart of the Upper Laurentians and crossed for more than 35 km by the famous Mitchinamecus River, Pourvoirie Mitchinamecus covers a 182.5 km² territory dotted with about fifty lakes. Fishing puts brook trout front and centre (found in around forty of the 52 lakes and in the river), with lake trout and splake in Grand Lac Clark, pike in lakes Omer and Louise, and walleye in more than ten lakes and in the river, where wade fishing is popular. Moose hunting takes place on exclusive zones of more than 15 km² attached to each cabin, over a three-week
season; the black bear hunt, in June over baited sites, posts a success rate near 100% and combines with fishing. Small-game hunting (ruffed grouse, spruce grouse, hare) runs across the whole territory late in the season. Lodging is in ten round-log lakeside cabins (3 to 10 people), propane-heated and solar-powered, set between 1.5 and about fifteen kilometres from the welcome office. In winter the outfitter opens for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing. Founded in the 1930s as the Iredale Club and later run as Pourvoirie des Cent Lacs Nord, it has carried its current name since 2005.

Dans mon top 3 des pourvoiries Accueil chaleureux service 5 étoiles chalet spacieux et bien équipé Le poisson n'était pas au rendez vous Mais l'ours oui Je recommence l'an prochain certain!

Pour la grosse truite c'est la place. Lac tourniere, entre autres. Pas de surplus a payer. Les chalets sont très propres, mais manquent de rénovations. Sur place, l'aides et conseilles sont accessibles par le personnel en place. D'ailleurs, un gros merci a la madame. ;-).Le doré est facile à prendre au lac Lucky et la aussi il y en a des gros. Des dorés de 30" remis a l'eau le prouvent. Depuis 4 ans que j'y vais et je n'ai pas envie d'aller ailleurs. Patrice Gravel. 2023, nouveau propriétaire et très grand ménage à la pourvoirie. Les chalets sont rénovés, les sentiers balisés et défrichés, Très attentifs aux commentaires et besoins des clients. Bref, un gros BRAVO.

J’ai été passer 2 jours de reve a la Pourvoirie Mitchinamicus. Les chalets sont extra propres! Et toutes les commodité y sont. Le personnel est très courtois et serviable. J’y ai pêché du beau doré! Je vais assurément recommander cet endroit et y retourner très bientôt!! Merci encore pour cette belle expérience et pour le bon service. Catherine

Service impécable de la part d'André et sa femme. En 6 ans j'ai un taux de réussite de 100% pour la chasse à l'ours et c'est l'endroit ou j'ai récolté mon premier orignal. Pour la pêche, quota assuré, que ce soit pour la truite ou le doré.
