From the south, follow Route 117/311 North via Chute-Saint-Philippe, Lac-Saint-Paul and Mont-Saint-Michel (last possible gas station). At Mont-Saint-Michel take Route 309, then the Chemin de Parent: registration post at km 7; at km 82 and the next stop continue straight; drive 26 km straight following the '100 Lacs' signs; keep right at the fork; follow 'Lac Toulouse' for about 16 km of narrowing road; at the 'Petit Toulouse' sign continue straight; take the next fork left to the boat launch. About 150 km (3 h) of gravel road from Mont-Saint-Michel. Fly-in by plane or helicopter is also possible.

Nous avons été accueillis comme en famille par Michel (l'hôte) dans un décor féérique sur l'île et ce, sans moustiques. Malgré une pêche modeste, nous nous sommes régalés de filets de doré, en partie grâce à la générosité de notre hôte. Nous étions logés dans des camps avec un charme rustique, mais très bien entretenus et propres. L'étendue du site nous a beaucoup impressionnés; le lac était facilement accessible pour la pêche et la baignade, au grand plaisir des parents et des petits fils. La disponibilité de Michel pour nous et surtout, les enfants, était remarquable et grandement appréciée.

Nous sommes allés 2 couples et nous avons adoré cette endroit. C'est un petit paradis sur terre, car nous sommes sur une petite île , loin de tout. Nous avons eu nos quota de doré et même plus, car nous avons pris 3 repas de doré . C'était vraiment du gros.!!! L'inconvénient est que pour 2 couples dans le même chalet c'est trop petit. À ne pas faire ! Surtout, il nous charge le même montant que si nous réservions deux chalet. La dernière chose qui n'est pas pratique , c'est que les toilettes et douche sont à l'extérieur du chalet ! Elle sont centralisée sur l'île. Je donne 5 étoiles pour la pêche, mais 3 étoiles pour les chalets et surtout pour les toilettes et douche. Merci et bonne pêche !🐟
