We had a wonderful stay at Rainbow Camp on the French River! The location is beautiful and peaceful, ideal for nature lovers, fishing, and outdoor activities. The cottage was comfortable and offered everything needed for a relaxing stay. The scenery around the camp is splendid and direct access to the river made our fishing trip even more enjoyable. The hosts were welcoming, helpful, and very easy to reach. We truly loved our stay and will return without hesitation. We highly recommend Rainbow Camp.

I wanted to update my initial review. I've returned to Rainbow Camp several times over the years, with my first stay dating back 10 years ago. It has always been a pleasure staying there. The camp changed owners and the new owners are extremely friendly people. We had to make a last-minute change and they were very accommodating. I will definitely come back. The cottages have been completely renovated and are beautiful. The cleanliness is spot-on. And I stand by my first review from 10 years ago: this place is a true piece of paradise. A piece of paradise! I can't say enough good things about Rainbow Camp. The owners were great, the cottages are in perfect shape, very clean, the boat launch is concrete, and above all, the fishing was excellent. We will definitely be back, but for a longer stay next time.

My wife and I spent a week at Rainbow Camp. We had a great stay. The cottage was even better than expected, and the boat with its motor was excellent: a 20 hp 4-stroke Mercury, only one year old. The fishing was good. We caught muskie, pike, bass, walleye, black crappie, and a few pumpkinseeds, as it should be. Noella, the camp manager, was very welcoming and helpful. The experience was fantastic and very affordable. We definitely plan to return.

The place was great, very clean and well organized! Noella was awesome and everything was as described. We went there in late May for three nights. We knew the bugs would be a bit annoying, but we also knew the fishing would be great! And we were right! We stayed at cabin #5, which has a private dock with a ladder for swimming. A real plus! The cabin was very clean and lacked nothing. The outdoor BBQ was also spotless. You have to walk up a small hill to get to the private dock, but that's normal on the Canadian Shield. Noella was very easy to contact before our arrival and very helpful during our stay. The boat launch was in great condition and there is fuel on site. Thank you Noella and see you next year!

My dad and I went fishing here on the north channel. We were there in late May, but not during the long weekend, so it wasn't crowded. I can't comment on the rooms, as we camped in a pop-up trailer, but overall, we were delighted with our stay. The staff and the owner were very helpful, our site was very nice, and all the amenities were well-maintained (washrooms, etc.). The boat launch was great and spacious. The fishing was excellent: we caught a muskie and a ton of smallmouth bass. Frankly, I have no complaints about this place and my experience was great. The only downside is that the campsite is rather informal. This creates a very nice vibe, as everyone is super relaxed, but if you're used to numbered sites and the strictness of a provincial park, it's different (and so much the better). It's just something to consider.
