⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed at Auld Reekie Lodge during a diamond drilling project in the area, and I have nothing but praise for this place. Urs, Diane, and the entire team were incredibly warm, welcoming, and respectful throughout my stay. Diane is an exceptionally kind woman who always made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Working away from home isn't always easy, but she went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable and truly made the lodge a home away from home. The absolute highlight was the food. It was simply amazing! Easily some of the best meals I've ever eaten. Every dish was carefully prepared, flavourful, and consistently exceeded my expectations. Urs is an incredibly talented chef and thoroughly deserves recognition for the quality of his cooking. Great people, exceptional hospitality, and truly unforgettable food. I recommend Auld Reekie Lodge without hesitation and would gladly return. Thank you to Urs, Diane, and all the staff for taking such good care of us!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Auld Reekie Lodge with my son and a friend, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. As a seasoned traveller who has stayed at many lodges over the years, I can confidently say that this place truly stands out from the rest. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the staff were warm and attentive. The ideal location made this establishment an excellent choice for our trip. Run by a welcoming and friendly family, the lodge makes you feel right at home. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of snowmobiling. The dining room was just as charming, with its fireplace and cozy sofas where you could enjoy the crackling fire. The service at this lodge truly exceeded all our expectations. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect in every way. In my case, the owners learned that I had severe food allergies and did everything possible to accommodate my restrictions. They took my allergies seriously and made sure my meal was both safe and delicious. I thank them immensely for their thoughtfulness and great care. I highly recommend informing them of any allergies prior to your arrival so they can make the necessary arrangements. If I could give them a 6 out of 5 stars rating, I would do so without hesitation. A great place for a snowmobiling trip! Located right on the trails, with premium gas on site. The trails were perfectly groomed right up to the cabin. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The dining room is the perfect spot to relax with a drink by the fire and enjoy a delicious homemade meal. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. All the staff are extremely friendly and treated us like family. Nothing but compliments! 10/10, highly recommend. We will be back!

Our family of five recently stayed at Auld Reekie Lodge and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Our kids are 16, 15, and 10 years old and, within minutes, they were asking if we could come back! The scenery around the lodge is simply beautiful: wherever you look, the view is breathtaking. The lodge itself is very welcoming, spotless, and well maintained, which made us feel right at home. The cabins are also very clean and spacious! But what really made the difference was the staff! They were fantastic, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with stunning views and flawless service, we highly recommend Auld Reekie!

A great place to stay. The food and staff were excellent. The cabins and main building were very clean and well maintained. We were on a snowmobile trip and it's one of the best places we've stayed on trips of this kind!
