I don't often write reviews, but my stay at Lost Lake comes to mind. The lodge owners were extremely helpful. I remember the battery on my fish finder was low, and the owner bought me a new one when he went into town. I have nothing negative to say about the week I spent there. The staff catered to our every need, always friendly and professional. The food was good. Exploring the lakes was a real pleasure. The cabins were comfortable and the people very friendly.

It was our first time at Lost Lake, and even at a fishing lodge. My dad and I went for opening weekend. We had booked five nights, but on the third day, we decided to add another one. And then, obviously, we didn't want to leave on steak night... The service was impeccable. Everyone here is a true professional. The food was excellent, the boats always had a full tank of gas, and bait was always provided. You could tell that everyone was happy to work there. The cabins were spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable, and the one we had was spacious enough to accommodate four people. There's even satellite TV, which allowed us to watch the playoffs after coming back from night fishing. Between the two of us, my dad and I caught 125 fish! 67 smallmouth bass, 28 walleye, 12 northern pike, and 18 brook trout. The lakes are beautiful and the water is crystal clear. There is no cell service on the property, except at the lodge where there is Wi-Fi. I was worried it might be a bit annoying, but after the first day, I was really glad not to receive notifications on my phone while reeling in 1.5 kg smallmouth bass. A quick trip to the lodge to send a few goodnight messages after evening fishing was all I needed. We will definitely be back! After a four-night stay at this lodge in mid-May, I was very impressed by the facilities and the staff. The fishing was excellent (it started off a bit slow, but after changing bait and technique, we had a lot of success). All the groups at the lodge had great catches, even though it was the start of the season. The cabins were very comfortable, the kitchen offered excellent meals, and above all, the staff went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend Lost Lake Wilderness Lodge for your next fishing adventure.

Tony and Melissa were able to accommodate us on short notice and made everything incredibly easy from the start. The boats and equipment were very well maintained. Portages were easy and set up with boats and motors on each lake which made exploring effortless and one of a kind. The staff checked in regularly and were always attentive and helpful. The fishing was outstanding, especially year round smallmouth bass in some areas and even backcountry trout lakes. Accommodations were comfortable. The games room was also a great touch with pool, foosball, cards, sports on TV, and internet available if wanted. You can tell they take pride in the operation and genuinely care about guests having a great experience. We’d definitely return.

The welcome was exceptional, simply excellent. The food was delicious and varied. The hosts checked in every day to make sure everyone was having a good stay and to listen to the fishing stories of the day. The region offers a wild and unspoiled setting, with a great variety of lakes. Each lake location was perfectly equipped to accommodate all groups of anglers. The team at Lost Lake Wilderness Resort exceeded all my expectations, and I highly recommend this establishment for an unforgettable, perfectly organized fishing experience with flawless service.
