Les cabanes sont propres, mais vétustes et nécessitent des réparations et une modernisation. Les détecteurs de fumée sont soit hors service, soit absents. L'eau doit être bouillie avant consommation ; ailleurs, nous avons trouvé des établissements équipés de systèmes d'eau potable ou de points d'eau pour remplir une bonbonne. Il faut apporter son propre papier toilette (absurde !), et comme le camping est raccordé au réseau d'assainissement individuel, la plupart des gens utilisent du papier toilette ordinaire. Le prix est correct pour certaines cabanes, mais excessif pour les cabanes simples ou doubles.

Notre famille a passé de merveilleuses vacances au Long Point Lodge. Quel endroit magnifique ! Le chalet était impeccable et nous avons adoré la vue imprenable sur le lac. C'est l'endroit idéal pour se ressourcer et profiter de moments en famille au cœur d'une nature splendide. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner.

Mon père, mon oncle et moi avons passé quelques jours formidables au Long Point Lodge. À notre arrivée, nous avons eu la chance d'être surclassés dans la maison de luxe, ce qui nous a permis de profiter d'un espace immense pour nous détendre. Lise a été extrêmement compréhensive et arrangeante concernant mes restrictions alimentaires, et nos repas étaient excellents, avec des portions généreuses et des desserts délicieux ! La pêche sur le lac a été peu fructueuse le premier jour, mais Gord nous a indiqué une rivière où le lodge met des bateaux à disposition pour le deuxième jour, et nous avons atteint notre quota de dorés jaunes en moins d'une heure. Nous avons relâché plusieurs dorés jaunes et probablement une douzaine de beaux brochets, tout en admirant des paysages magnifiques et en observant des pygargues à tête blanche planer au-dessus de nous. Ce fut une expérience formidable et nous reviendrons très bientôt. Merci à vous tous !

My father two sons and I stayed at the lodge at the end of July 2019. It was great. Gord and Lisa are more than welcoming and the accommodations are very clean. We opted for the meal plan and it was fantastic. Lisa is an incredible cook and you won't be disappointed. We caught 42 fish (not bad for the off season) and I would recommend Long Piont Lodge to anyone.
