Lake Barrin — Aventure Wapishish

Lac Barrin is the main body of water near which the signature accommodations of Aventure Wapishish outfitter are located, in Saint-Fulgence at the heart of the Monts-Valin massif in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region. Situated right next to Les Jumeaux semi-detached cabins (Le Grand Jumeau and Le Petit Jumeau) as well as La Petite Auberge, this lake offers a peaceful and relaxing boreal environment. Visitors can enjoy clear views of the lake and surrounding forest from their cabin terrace, or unwind by the shoreline in absolute tranquility. Part of an exclusive 88-square-kilometer outfitting territory scattered with lakes suited for outdoor recreation, Lac Barrin and surrounding waters inhabit brook trout. Sport fishing enthusiasts are provided with rowboats equipped with electric or gasoline motors to navigate the outfitter's waters, operating under daily fishing rights and regulated catch quotas. The site serves as an ideal base for brook trout fishing trips, hunting stays (moose, black bear, small game), and winter snowmobile excursions.
