Aventure Wapishish outfitter is established on an 88 km² exclusive territory located in the Monts-Valin, in the Saguenay region, near Saint-Fulgence. This vast wilderness area is dominated by boreal forest cover, featuring forest trails, secondary roads, and numerous bodies of water, including Lake Barrin. The aquatic environment consists of many pristine lakes home to brook trout populations. Regarding land wildlife, the territory provides a prime habitat for big game, notably moose and black bear. For moose hunting, the outfitter divides its domain into exclusive sectors of 10 to 12 km², carefully managed with salt licks and salt blocks. Mature and
active black bears in this sector of the Monts-Valin are regularly observed around managed bait stations on-site. The forest cover also hosts several small game species. Hunters and hikers can encounter ruffed grouse, snowshoe hare, and woodcock. The boreal environment thus offers a diversified ecosystem characterized by abundant snow in winter and preserved forest spaces.
Aventure Wapishish offers a range of activities focused on hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and nature stays year-round. For fishing, the outfitter provides access to an 88 km² territory featuring exclusive or semi-exclusive lakes for brook trout. Offered on a European plan for stays of 3 to 6 days (mainly from July to late August), the activity includes a boat, electric or gas motor, fuel, and fishing rights. Equipment rental and catering services or lunch boxes are also available. In winter, certain lakes are open for ice fishing. For hunting, European plan packages are tailored for various species: moose hunting on dedicated

The food with a really nice chef who takes the time to come see us to get our feedback, but it was really delicious, we only had positive things to say with a WOW menu in the middle of the woods, again with very reasonable prices Plus, Jo, one of the shareholders, had a QR code to explain all the return routes properly to us!
