Lake Kipawa — Cedar Valley Lodge

Lake Kipawa is a majestic body of water located in the Témiscamingue region of southwestern Quebec, accessible by both road and boat. Sprawling across nearly 75,000 acres, it reaches over 80 kilometers in width and features more than 1,600 kilometers of shoreline filled with countless bays, islands, and steep limestone cliffs. Its crystal-clear, deep waters exceed 300 feet in depth in certain areas, creating an exceptional aquatic habitat for over 15 fish species. The outfitter offers outstanding fishing primarily targeting yellow walleye and the rare blue walleye, along with northern pike, lake trout, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, lake whitefish, lake herring, and burbot. The surrounding diverse ecosystem also provides ideal territory for moose and black bear hunting. Boats allow guests to explore this unspoiled wilderness setting, perfect for fishing, scuba diving to explore historic logging-era sunken vessels, or observing wildlife along its rocky, forested shores.
