Pourvoirie La Vallée des Cèdres (Cedar Valley Lodge) is operated by the ILIC family, who welcome visitors to the shores of Lake Kipawa. The territory is steeped in a rich historical context: the name Lake Kipawa comes from a Nishnabi expression meaning "narrow passage between the rocks" or "closed waters," recalling the ancestral use of these lands by First Nations for hunting and fishing. In the late 19th century, the region became a major hub for timber transport. to regulate the lake's water levels, marking the history of this sector now dedicated to the outdoors.
